Two posts in two days, wow! Let’s hope I can keep this up.
So today it’s a health and fitness related post. I thought I would tell you about a new training and nutrition program that I started in January.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I developed an interest in weight lifting two years ago and I started out training with help from my dad. He used to do bodybuilding when he was younger so he knows quite a bit and was so helpful 🙂
Anyway, long story short: I was really interested in this so I researched it further last year using a website called bodybuilding.com and I tried to educate myself on nutrition and counting macros but I wasn’t seeing the results that I wanted to.
I had been following recalibrated bodies on Instagram and snapchat for a while and was really keen to sign up for one of their training and nutrition programs, but of course things like this are never cheap.
(Oh yeah, side note: an exciting thing happened since I stopped blogging in 2014: I got engaged!!!!! This happened in December 2015 🙂 so I am also planning our wedding at the moment – more info on this to follow also!). I told myself that I would sign up with recalibrated bodies in 2018 to get in shape before the wedding, but then Christmas 2016 came around and when my parents asked me what gift I would like I couldn’t think of anything I’d like more!
I started my 8 week training and nutrition program on January 7th and it is the best thing I have ever done! I will do a more detailed post with a review on this but I just wanted to write a little bit of background first.
I am currently 4 weeks into the program and in that time I have dropped 3kg and 3.9% body fat! I am amazed by the results and have never felt better.
